The Geelong Camera Club prides itself on being an informal, enthusiastic and friendly club which extends a warm welcome to anyone with an interest in photography. We meet every Wednesday night (with a short break over the Christmas/New Year season) from 7.15 pm for a 7.30 pm start at our clubroom.
Geelong Camera Club Inc., founded in 1889, is proud to be the longest continually operating club on the Australian mainland and currently has approximately 120 members.
We offer an interesting and varied program throughout the year, including guest speakers, members’ evenings, regular competitions, practical sessions, weekend outings and Special Interest Groups.
Club members vary from beginners to skilled experts all with the aim of sharing knowledge, developing skills and participating in the practice and enjoyment of photography.

Visitors and prospective members are always welcome to come along to our meeting nights, which are held from 7.15 pm for a 7:30 pm start on Wednesday evenings at the:
Barwon Valley Activity Centre,
Barwon Heads Road,
Belmont 3216
(opposite the Kmart car park).
If you are interested in joining our club, you are welcome to attend three meetings, after which a membership fee is payable.

Single: $75

Full-Time Student: $65
Family (2 people): $110
(Additional family members: $50 each)
*Concession Family (2 people): $100
(Additional family members: $45 each)
* Concessions: A holder of an aged pensioner card,
Govt Seniors card or Disability Pension or Unemployed or Full-Time Student.
ProRata Membership Fees:
January to 30 July = 50% of full-year fees as listed.
May to 30 July = membership fees nil, or 25% of fees for voting rights and competition rights.
